課程概述

本學期的課程,除了歷史回顧外,將分以下三個主題來回顧相關領域的重要作品:(1) Economic Transition; (2) Social Changes; (3) Political Development. 選擇的文章除了內容與主題相關,並盡量選取有好的研究設計的作品,使同學在掌握中國大陸政經發展的歷史脈絡的同時,又能觀摩如何以社會科學的方法進行中國研究,並漸漸發展出個人的研究問題與研究設計。 

課程目標
作為入門必修課,這門課主要有兩個目的:一是介紹有關中國大陸政經發展研究的重要議題與辯論;二是幫助同學瞭解如何以社會科學的方法進行中國研究。 
課程要求

(1) 隨堂心得報告,選八週,老師會在前一週提示問題(80%,博班學生40%)。
(2) 口頭報告,不得與(1)重複(20%)。
(3) 期末報告─選一主題,蒐集書單,進行文獻分析(僅博班學生,40%)
